ART CLASSES: Registration is underway for the winter
slate of classes. Students and adults benefit from the Arts Council's association with Green Local Schools who graciously
allow us to utilize their art classrooms.
Art-A-PALOOZA: The City of Green's Third Annual Fine
Arts Festival was held at Boettler Park in collaboration with the City of Green Parks & Recreation and the Green Chamber
of Commerce. A silent auction of art donated by festival artists to raise funds for student scholarships was featured along
with musicians, dancers and art exhibitors.
$500 SCHOLARSHIPS: The Arts Council presented two $500
scholarships to Green High School graduating seniors who were continuing their studies in the arts at institutions of higher
learning.
This year can be another progressive one for the arts here in Green. We
hope you will join us in bringing cultural enrichment to our community through The Green Arts Council's "Access to the Arts."
