Green Arts Council
scholarships are awarded based on a student's quantity and quality of arts-related studies and activities in high school,
and their dedication to education towards an arts career. Students submit an application, grade transcripts, and a career aspirations essay. They are each interviewed by a panel of Green Arts Council members.
The council raises funds for the award of scholarships to graduating Green High School arts students every year from a raffle of art work generously donated by artists who participate
in the annual Art-a-Palooza festival. The festival is set for August 29 this year at
Boettler Park. The event is a collaboration between the Green Arts Council and the City of Green Parks and Recreationdepartment.
Scholarship funds are also obtained from corporate
and individual sponsor donations. For information on scholarship donation or on joining the Green Arts Council, please contact
